Q: I'm having issues with the video player saving my progress, not playing, etc.

First, make sure you allow third-party cookies from player.vimeo.com in your browser. If your playback is slow or laggy, you can change it to a lower resolution in the gear settings. You can also check for outages at www.vimeostatus.com.

Q: How do I turn on subtitles?

Some videos have auto generated English subtitles. Most films have manually made English subtitles, and in some cases, a variety of other languages. In all cases, you can select the CC icon in the lower right corner of the player and choose a language. You can access the Customize menu within CC settings to edit font size, font color, font edge styling, background color, and background opacity. To edit the caption and subtitle appearance, first, click the [CC] button below the player and then select Customize. The Font, Background, and Window menus each contain customizable settings. Make sure you have captions/subtitles turned on to see the changes as you make them.
